Shadows

There are things that are hiding in the shadow. Demons and spirits are every where. When I, Chase, look at shadows I see them and no one else sees them. There are a lot of us, we are normal people, but we know the truth about the world. We are hunters. We hunt things hiding in the shadows for a living. When I go on a hunt I have no idea what I am dealing with and what's going to happen. 

In hell there are many things. There are spirits, demons, and there are vampires and werewolves. All of those things are an evil as evil gets. They kill people just for fun. Demons posses people and they do horrible things. The people that get posses are a where how what they are doing but they can't stop themselves. 

 The Last Thing I Remember was about a boy, Charlie, how woke up in a random place not remembering the last thing that happened to him. What I like most about was the way who the author, Andrew Klavan, wrote Charlie's thoughts.  He wrote Charlie's thoughts to make it feel like you were Charlie. Charlie had a couple mind braces he was trying to remember what happened to him. Every now and then there would be a flash back to his life and the transition from present to past was very well done.

I also liked how descriptive the author was when describing Charlie's situation and what was happening around him. When Charlie escaped from the police was so well described that it felt like a movie. This book described Charlie on the run, when he was on the run many things were happening. There were thoughts being said and what is happening around him at the same time. The author knew how to blend the two together very well.
