Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies so far is a very good book. My favorite part about is the word choice and how it is British. Before we started to read Lord of the Flies I had heard of it before and been like this is not a book I might not want to read, now I want to continue. The strange thing about the book is it's reference to pigs, with the pink island with tail, Piggy, all of the pigs on the island and who Jack wants to kill pigs. Another thing it who fear is shown. Fear is show through words and through things that they see or how they act. The snake-thing and the creeper flying the air looking like snake is all strange. I feel like this book will get better as it goes on.

Human Nature (Flawed or Perfect)

To me human nature can be flawed. It all depend on how someone was raised. I someone is raised right they will have a right nature, but there are some who are raised wrong. Those people who are raised wrong think that wrong is right because they weren't taught what is right. It can be confusing to understand but it depends on how a person act when they get older and how they treat others. The flawed part of human nature is the way that we have to put label on everything, black, white, gay, and straight. Why can't we all be people? We are all the same except for the ways we view each other. When someone hears someone say they are gay, they start to view that person differently, like they are not the same person they know, but they are they are the exact same person. Only thing different is that person who said they were gay became even stronger, for someone to say that it might be hard and doing that right create a different view on them but they have to have the guts to say it.

What lead me to believe this is that see ad hear about it everyday. During chapel on Friday we talked about it. How people are bullied just because they aren't like everybody else. They are an LGBT which is a label I don't like, it is an unnecessary label that does not need to be around. In chapel people stood up and said different percents of people who are bullied and it only takes one to stop a bully situation. Be that one and stop the bullying of others.

Reading Response

I like the book Lady Midnight but it is very long. The book it about six hundred pages long. I am at a good part with the characters are trying to find out information. I am trying to not give anything away for those who want to read the book. It is every good  book but if someone wants to read it, they should read The Mortal Instruments series first, if not they would be very confused because they talk about the other series and events that happened in the series.

Fall Break Post

The first day of fall break I was at home pretty much the whole day. We had a guy come over and redo my tub area in my bathroom, so my mom and I had to stay here while a guy was doing that. I did homework and entertained my dogs because they were stuck in my parents room. That night I watch the season 12 premiere of Supernatural, which I have be waiting for a long time. It was so good and I am not going to say any more about for those who are starting to watch Supernatural or those who haven't caught up.

The next 3 day my mom, grandmother, and I went to Alabama to see my great aunt. We drove up Friday and it took about 3 hours to get there. In the car I practiced taking motion videos and I worked on a script I'm writing. The next day we all went to the Tanger Outlet. Everybody got something, I got some things from Hot Topic and  Zumiez. We were there for about 3 or so hours. The last day we spent some time outside and then we drove back home. When I got home I played with my dogs some and then I started to write this blog.

Should We Abandon Louisiana?

The people of Louisiana should never give up of their state. After all of the natural disasters it can be hard to come back from that but now that I see how the people of  Louisiana come together we can get through this together. The one football field of land we lose, some people don't know that but if we were all to come together we could slow down the process. Those things outsider were saying about Louisiana, like the schools are fail and how New Orleans is dysfunctional, some of it is true but we fight to the end and don't give up. That idea of bulldozing New Orleans is insane because you can just destroy a whole city, there are people that live there and people who can't afford to move or travel. People of Louisiana will stay here until there is no more, we will never give up.
