Learned

I learn that high is fun but it is a bit like I thought it was going to be. I just need to work hard on everything. I need to put 110% effort into every bit of homework and class work. I need to work on this more. I feel like I procrastinate some but I need to stop.

If I have something due I need to get started on it sooner than later. Last semester I put some things off and it wasn't the best choice. I need to start projects not long after they were given. My goal is to try not to procrastinate as much.

Research Topic

My topic is on Northern Ireland and why is stay apart of the United Kingdom and some conflicts they had. I was interested about this because I like the U.K. and I noticed that Northern Ireland is apart of the U.K., and I have always wondered why that is. Most people I told that there is a Northern Ireland didn't knew that it existed. Most people think Ireland is one country but it is two.

I wanted to go in depth of why is it that way. In doing so I learn about all of the struggles and hard ships they went through to get to where they are. I learn that Northern Ireland didn't split, they stayed and that interested me.

Ext. Night

I man is walking down a dark alley alone. He hears the sound of glass breaking and turns around fast. He starts to run, going faster and faster with each step. His is breathing gets heavier and heavier, he came to an immediate halt. There is a figure in front of him, but he can't tell who or what it is. He turns and runs as fast as he has ever run. He runs into a dark building. He leans against something to catch his breath. Next thing he knows, the figure is in front of him. He knows who it is. He asks why, why this is happening, why me? The room is lit by a blinding light. He slowly opens his eyes and he sees clouds everywhere and everything is white.

Research Paper

My research is going well I might need to find some new sources that talk more about the split of Northern Ireland split from Southern Ireland. So far it seems to be going well. I might have some difficulty finishing the 35 note cards this weekend. The reason why is because I have a horse show all this weekend and I have to be at the show for 6:40 both days and I won't be getting back to the hotel until 5 or 6 p.m., and today is my birthday, Sunday is my parents' anniversary, and Tuesday is my dad's birthday so I have a really busy weekend ahead.

Be side all of that I think I will do fine with the note cards. I might go to the writing center a lot when it come to writing the actual paper. I feel a bit pressured to do well this semester since I did ok on the last paper. I hope that I do well on this but just know I am trying my hardest. If my hardest isn't good enough well then I can't do anything else.
