9/11 2001 was the most tragic day in New York City’s history, over 3,000 people were killed including 400 police officers and firefighters. That day 2 planes were flown into the World Trade Center, on at day many people lost their lives. The first plan crashed in to the first building at sometime around 9. When it crashed in it kill a lot of people instantly. Immediately people started to evacuate, some couldn’t because they were trapped on the higher levels above where the plane crashed.
The second plan crashed into the other building a few minutes later. It went into the building and broke through another side. When that building fell it created a huge cloud of dust and rubble. Later the building the first plane crashed in fell with a cloud of dust. The surrounding building caught of fire killing more. It was the longest day in New York City.
